I think you would be surprised how some preppers doomsday there are these days. Most people are extremely shortsighted and think that the apocalypse is just crap.

To each his own, right?

Anyways, should be encouraged to know that there are thousands and thousands of us out there. Although everyone is preparing for something else, I think we all know that any preparation is better than any preparation at all.

Now let's look at a few types of doomsday preppers, shall we?

The oil catastrophe Preppers

As you can imagine, these are the people who prepares for the world running out of oil. Some experts say he will not run for decades. Others say that we'll be out by 2020, if not before. However, it never hurts to get prepared, right?

Some of these preppers doomsday has a car parked pretty close to where they live. When the shit hits the fan, who hike or bike to that hidden car and then get out of town.

Others have planned on just hunkering down where they live. Seed banks, hidden-away pets and gas are what you would expect to get them through the hard times.

These are people are gearing up for both a national or global financial meltdown. Whereas the United States is getting deeper into debt every year and the dollar is slipping, this type of disaster might occur very soon.

So how have these preppers is preparing? Well, if the financial system melts down, we have no ready access to food, water, oil, animals, clothing-rather nothing. The preppers are getting ready by stocking up on a lot of essential elements.

Keep in mind that when it comes to preparing for an Apocalypse, the Earth more do you need to raise crops and animals, the better. Although most humans live in cities, they probably regret when they're fighting each other for supplies, after the financial crisis occurs.

Nuclear War Doomsday Preppers

This began during the cold war, but have never really gone out of style. The fear of a nuclear war is on the rise as Iran is pushing scientists to develop nuclear warheads. Also, consider that the United States, Russia, China and a lot of other countries have nuclear weapons. Pretty scary, right?

Unfortunately this is a harder thing to prepare for than many other scenarios. If there is a nuclear fallout, it will be difficult for anything to survive for a long time. It is for this reason that many of these have deep dugouts preppers. These shelters are stocked with plenty of food and water, as well as ways to get more (e.g. water filtration systems and lights to grow fruits and vegetables).

Alien Invasion Doomsday Preppers

For some of us, this may seem a little silly. For others, this is the most likely form of disaster, that we are likely to see in the coming years.

For the most part, it's hard to say as the aliens invade. They take on our bodies as invasion of the body snatchers? Have huge machines that basically laser-zap us into dust as in the war of the worlds?

Since it is difficult to say, most of these preppers are making general preparations-stocking food, water, weapons, and ammunition. Lot of ammunition.

Pros and cons of sharing that you're a Prepper

On a nice forum on Doomsday preparation during the preparation and survival, there is a lot of talk about who is sharing the knowledge that I am a prepper of survival. This usually leads to a nice views and theories on the matter.

On one side of the coin there is safety in numbers. It would certainly be in a much safer position if you were a group of two protecting what you have than if there were a group of two.

From the other side we have the question of trust. If you have a good stash survival items and safety, like guns and Ammo is telling people to add more risk to your safety?

I don't know that there is a good solid answer to this as every situation is different and the group dynamics are different in each group. Could lead to a couple of people who know each other very well, but when the shit hits the fan you may consider bringing in others who know trying to help them. If you don't have the supplies and you could be on the outs with them and lead them to what you have and maybe even that.

On the other hand if you have family members and people you trust and really work as a team for greater good of everyone, then I just will make you stronger. You will be more able to adapt to change in this type of environment.

One thing that I think would help decide to remain separate or expand in numbers are equal. If you have say 1 year survival food for 10 and have plenty of guns and ammunition still others in the group have very little, you are not equal. They need you far more than you need them. This can lead to problems. Ideally all that you bring in your prepping should be able to contribute in equal amounts. If you have friends and family with nothing to try to work with them to build supplies before you bring into the fold.

Most people spend money every day that they could reuse for other things. That $ 5 Cup coffee that you drink twice daily is ten dollars per day or almost $ 300 a month. For that amount of money they could start out buying a supply of 30 days, or maybe a supply of 14 days and make coffee at home for much cheaper.

Also a lot of items that you may need can be found at thrift stores and garage sales. Things like canning jars, military stuff and camping are popular items at garage sales, so search around to see what you can find for cheap.

Long term, I believe that having a group of people or a quarter is the ideal way to go, but would always a level playing field that would help people like equals.

Every situation is different, of course, so it's important to use good judgment when deciding who to share your knowledge with prepping.

Sinkholes China Hunan province are causing Havoc

Thousands of inhabitants of the Hunan province of China was watching their country sinking into the depths of the Earth due to almost 700 sinkholes of China. Nearly a thousand residents are being affected by sinkholes that are causing damage to buildings and farmland. The sinkholes appeared all night, causing much concern and feeding the Mayan 2012 prophecy theorist.

The Government of China has been busy placing warning signs to warn local residents of the danger zone sinkhole.

The Chinese Internet has been overloaded with reports of sinkholes, appearing in large numbers throughout China. Many Chinese are seeing these sinkholes as a sign of the Apocalypse, or the end of the world. Rumors of doomsday are popular within China, because the movie 2012 was a big hit when the film came out last year.

Some are questioning the perfection of circular holes, declaring that even humans can make the shapes of sinkholes so perfectly round. Another local said that the holes are because God is angry with the earthlings to pollute the Earth and Sinkholes are a way to punish them.

Many 2012 conspiracy theorist agree that China sinkholes are a sign of the end times, agreeing with the Mayan prophecy that the world will end in 2012.

To shed light on China sinkholes scientific we need to understand what is the karst topography. We have to wait before coming to a conclusion reasonable scientific data is collected. There are already Rumors spread that the dolines may be caused due to increased seismic activity in the area; that could be a sign of a great earthquake, such as China or the world has never heard before.

Personal protection-you need a gun?

As an avid prepper one of the things that constantly think of is security. The fact that be when we are around or apocalyptic scenario and actual work to protect my family and food stores from those who are trying to take it from me

No matter what the reason is that I've had some conversations with family and friends on the security and the role of firearms for protection and always seem to be a bit of a mixed response.

Clearly there are two groups here, those who believe that in a situation where there is little or no Government and order when an emergency occurs and those who think it can be bad for a day or two then everything will be fine.

The problem here is that if the group two is right, wasted money just a group on guns and ammunition. However, if a group is right then two group could become part of the problem because suddenly they are going to be the have-nots in a world they need to survive.

Then, as if that security is having a gun, knife, stun gun and anything else just seems logical to err on the side of caution. Get a gun and ammunition does not mean that you are going to turn into a Harley Ridin' gun Slinger covered in tattoos. It is only a tool that, if necessary, that it's too late, if you don't have it.

I'm not arguing that all go buy a gun and when they answer their door have a loaded gun, but having one just in case and knowing how to use it just makes good sense.

Thus, in speaking with family and friends in two group ones seem to say most people are shot with his own gun. Does not dispute that because many people who have guns are unwilling to use them or have never taken the time to learn about their use after the initial purchase and maybe firing a little in a range.

In real life if you feel the need to pull off and aim your gun to someone two things need to happen. One that is needed to be sure the situation who are facing calls for the eventual use of lethal force and two that actually have the skills and ability to proceed if you need to. If you don't have those then you probably shouldn't have a gun and I recommend something less dangerous as a gun with rubber bullets.

Remember guns don't shoot people, people shoot people. If you use good judgment and safety consciousness are you never need to use the gun, but if you need it, it would be a bad time to think "I should have bought a gun."

Your family has an emergency plan in place?

Since the nature of emergencies are that they happen when it happens a good Doomsday Prepper must be prepared for many different contingencies.

Obviously most preppers survival think of the obvious such as food, shelter and safety, but what about actually planning for the emergency itself? What happens if a car train derailed and was loaded with chemicals potentially letal and were plume blowing your way? The spouse is working, the kids are in school and all hell breaks loose, or as we like to call him, when the shit hits the fan.

In a few minutes the announcement of disaster streets are filling with cars, people are ignoring the rules of the road for example lane drive in 4 ways and stops. This leads to further snarling traffic problems and accidents. To make things worse they try and contact your family on the phone, but you can get all circuits are busy message.

Fortunately you're at home and have access to gas masks, plenty of food and all, but the spouse and children are not close to where. You have to leave your home because of security concerns but what about the rest of your family, what they're thinking? Where are they going to try to go?

Most likely they are trying to get to you and the gear that you are looking to pick up and leave with.

This is a common scenario that happens and will happen again. Have a plan in place for these types of emergency situations can be the difference between life and death. Every family should have plans in place on what to do in such a scenario.

Maybe they have a family member that is outside the city as your meeting place. Maybe it's just an address in town for reach and leave a message for a final destination.

The point is that everyone in the family needs to know where to meet if they are separated and need to go with the story. This plan should be discussed regularly, so when the emergency situation comes up everyone knows where to go and what to do at least.

Creating a survival plan is as simple as having a discussion and come up with some positions. Should also plan on who should grab what when the time comes. Plan for different scenarios. A derailment of the train would be very different from that of a terrorist attack or an earthquake.

Take a few minutes to get this done. You just might save your life and the lives of your loved ones.

Doomsday Preppers, bags, Food Storage and survival Hemorrhoids relief Bug

Doomsday preppers are getting ready for a variety of global disasters with bug out survival food storage bags, weapons for self-defense and emergency action plans to help them survive if the world plunges into lawless chaos, but many are forgetting to include hemorrhoid relief products in their long-term survival gear stockpile.

Socially they are liberal, peace loving and mellow people who live an Ed Begley Jr. environment first type of existence. They grow different food in a nice size organic garden and try to be self-sufficient as possible for living in San Diego, California.

They've been trying to get a small circle of friends that live in the neighborhood to be part of their doomsday prepper community. For Christmas they gave out bug out bags well stocked to us as presents. It was a really thoughtful gift that will last for years to come.

I would not consider myself a hardcore doomsday prepper, but I do keep the bug out bag that I did add hemorrhoid relief products to in the trunk of my car and another bug out bag in the house.

I've also started to take more seriously survival food storage. I now have about two months of emergency food stuffs and water in my house along with an assortment of medicated wipes, creams and ointments that are part of an extensive first aid kit for the house and car.

It's nothing compared to what my friends have. They told me they could last two years off the grid if the world's infrastructure suddenly collapsed because of a disaster or economic meltdown that would leave people fending for themselves.

Once a month they email a group of updates us on what we should have in our survival gear storage supplies and helpful hints on being more self sufficient. It's easy to forget sometimes this husband and wife are certified public accountants and not full-time survivalists.

Their monthly newsletter the doomsday prepper noticed was missing any treatments if someone gets a hemorrhoidal condition. It could have been because I'm a hemorrhoid sufferer former and write for a blog dedicated to the topic that this stuck out to me like a sore thumb.

A doomsday prepper diet could easily cause painful growths to form inside of the rectum and outside of the anus. Also factor in super high stress levels of the world as you know it turned upside down and next thing you know you feel burning itch, awful pain and bleeding coming from your rectal area.

Doomsday: Preppers As Doomsday Prep?

Many people have seen the show and their Doomsday Preppers always seems to be first question? How to become a prepper of doomsday? Show only asking the question that are already on the right track. Prepper a doomsday is not made overnight, it takes time and effort and usually even money to buy stuff.

Various articles on this site have touched the bases, but this will be a little more advanced.

Before you go out and buy a bunch of gear for that you need to think about what are preparing? I am worried that the Government will not be able to provide for the safety and well-being? I am concerned because you live in an area of the tsunami or hurricane, where it can be without resources for more than a couple of days? Or are you worried powerlines will go down and take weeks or months to get repaired? All of these are good reasons to start preparations to survive today.

As a prepper my hope is that I never need to use the items that I have in my cache prepper. At the same time, although I do not want to be the one to say OMG I can't believe that just happened and don't have the stuff you need to survive in the aftermath of any given survival situation.

So to become a prepper you will want to assess what should be prepared for threats that you that you have faced. If there are nuclear or chemical in nature, a gas mask and iodine pills should be in your survival kit for sure. If you are in a place where a natural disaster is going to be a problem it would be good to keep your mobile and get supplies prepper a well-stocked bug out bag and items like a water bag for your bathtub giving access to clean water.

If you're thinking hyperinflation is going to be a problem then you have a ready supply of food will be the answer. You need a gas mask in your emergency Kit?

If you're like me you have probably seen many shows of preparation of doomsday on TV and I saw many people with gas and biological filtration. Was asked by visitors a couple if it is something that is really necessary in your survival kit.

Answer that question really depends on what is used for the mask. If you were in an emergency where chemical or biological weapons are used then having a gas mask would be the difference between life and death. If on the other hand there were a swine flu, avian flu pandemic or other that is airborne and nose mouth filters would probably work better.

The gas mask is not actually an item you would be able to wear all the time. Is for short-term use in an emergency situation. Many have no way to drink in them and are not exactly the most comfortable survival items that you will wear. Filter paper masks can be worn regularly and won't be nearly as cumbersome as a gas mask.

So with that said if you have a gas mask in your survival tool kit? I like to think of as a prepper I try to be prepared for a variety of emergency situations. If you prepare for the only super volcano eruption in Wyoming, or a chemical attack I'm limiting my quickness.

For about 20-40 bucks you can get a gas mask and be prepared for any emergency situation survival nears. I also want to make sure you have a supply of paper masks for airborne pathogens in case of spread of infectious diseases. For most survival situations having a filtration masks of any brand is likely to provide protection of survival for both you and your family.

Remember how a prepper that you need to think about being prepared for many different situations. Most likely you will never be able to have all your bases covered but more have covered more will be prepared. Know the emergency survival is the best way to start. You are more educated about what would it take to survive in any emergency it'sa hurricane, nuclear disaster, widespread electrical interruptions or will be only a local emergency, the better off you and your family.
